Origins – We were going on our first date with the greeting card industry. We wanted to make a good first impression. One of our cards is actually entitled “First Date.” The imagery on the card stock and within the words was meant for the type of person that could read a book several times over. The cards that make up the “Origins” series were created to give a person something new no matter how many times they read it. People often ask me why we don’t use all the little cute hanging trinkets, fancy die cuts and paper, embossing and the like. Honestly, we feel that there is something nostalgic about just ink on paper. My grandfather, his father and his father’s father all wrote their love letters that way.
