<description>As an intern, it&#039;s good to be able to influence others through events and help kids in our area to tap into their creative potential and offer them a positive outlet of expression.

The open-atmosphere of the &quot;Art SHO&quot; welcomes people no matter age or walk of life to come together to appreciate the impact of the fine arts in our lives and to contribute to keeping it alive in the education of those who, without us, might not have the opportunity. Usually, it’s a challenge for those who work during the day to be involved in a program that requires volunteers during the school day, but hosting fund raising events like the Art SHO during the evening not only offers a window of opportunity to take part but also to invite others and show them the reason for our efforts.

In my eyes, the exhibit lets the art and the music speak for itself since the fine arts, whether verbal or visual, contain a message of bold, non-discriminating expression that has the power to reach and influence many.
